12 Accepted Students Reception for the Class of 2011, Northern New Jersey. Phil Lurie ’74 and his wife, Betty Lurie ’75, will host the event. 21 Navigating Rensselaer & Beyond. A five-day orientation program for all first-year students, designed to introduce them to Rensselaer, to the area, and to each other. Day trips are based in three categories: adventure-based/teambuilding, community service, and historical/cultural.
