President Shirley Ann Jackson and other representatives of Rensselaer celebrated the founding of the Rensselaer Alumni Association’s newest chapter in Geneva, Switzerland, in March.

President Jackson presented the official charter certificate to the alumni committee, from left: Mohsen Dajani ’04, Leah Rollhaus ’87, Randall Krantz ’95, and Stephane Gamard ’03. The addition of the Switzerland Chapter brings the total number of international RAA chapters to seven. There are more than 30 regional chapters across the U.S.

WRPI Plans 50th Anniversary Celebration

All former members of WRPI/Radio Rensselaer are invited to join current students in celebration of WRPI’s 50th anniversary, from Nov. 1-4, 2007. Please send an e-mail to Steve Malinski ’09 at or to Peter Pedone at to be added to the mailing list. Please include the years you were involved, either as a student or alumnus, and your role in the club, such as an officer or DJ. As plans are developed further for this weekend, you will receive more information and an invitation to the event.
