Chromosome Socks

In Ben Cohen's Living Environment classes, he demonstrated the processes of mitosis and meiosis by using pairs of socks to represent chromosomes. He also used binder clips to serve as centromeres and chalk lines on the tables to serve as spindle MTs. The students paired up the socks and then did physical demonstrations of mitosis and meiosis to reinforce the two processes.
