In celebration of our Bicentennial, we invite the Troy community to join us for a carnival with a Ferris wheel, food trucks, lawn games, and more.

Reunion & Homecoming 2024 will welcome alumni of all years and will include milestone celebrations for class years ending in 4 or 9, fraternities and sororities, athletics, and clubs. The weekend will also feature a special celebration of RPI’s Bicentennial.

An exhibit featuring the work of 14 RPI School of Architecture students will be presented in the windows of the Chasan building in downtown Troy.

Join us at sunset for an unforgettable experience as we take RPI’s legacy to the sky. Our Bicentennial Drone Show will celebrate our past, reflect on the present, and look to the future.

Join us to celebrate the many contributions RPI has made to the history of space exploration. Learn about current research in space science and technology as well as career opportunities associated with the rapid development of commercial space science and technology. A panel of experts will discuss plans for manned and unmanned space exploration and the future of commercial endeavors in space.

The Other Side of Silence examines technology’s role in the fabric of human society and the role it plays in promoting and diminishing our autonomy, as seen through the lens of an Augmentative and Alternative Communication user – someone who uses a synthetic voice to communicate with the world. Through a series of interwoven storylines, this new opera explores what it means to be our true self, and which of our voices - our inner or outer voice - most directly represents our identity.
