Biography:

I am a Ph.D Student in the Department of Electrical,Computer and Systems Engineering at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. My research area is computer vision and pattern recognition. Currently, I'm a research assistant in Intelligent System Lab under supervision of Prof. Qiang Ji, working on face detection and recognition. 

I received the Master's degree from Tsinghua University in China (2006) and Bachelor's degree from Fudan University in China (2003), both in Electrical Engineering.
