Satish Ukkusuri

Professor Ukkusuri leads the transportation networks research group at RPI. His research is funded by various agencies including the National Science Foundation (NSF), New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC), New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), NJDOT and USDOT.  He teaches transportation systems classes at Rensselaer. He is a member of the Transportation Network Modeling committee at Transportation Research Board (National Academies). He is an elected Vice-Chair of the ITS Special Interest Group (SIG) at Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS). He is also an Editor of Overview paper for the journal of Transportation Research Part-C (Emerging Technologies) and an Associate Editor for the journal, Networks and Spatial Economics.

Gitakrishnan Ramadurai

Gita is interested in applying mathematical modeling techniques to analyze traffic networks. He is currently developing theoretical and operational models for the next generation of Traveler Guidance Systems (GPS++!). When he is not feverishly putting pencil to paper scribbling equations or huddled over his laptop writing code, he may be found in the racquet ball courts (or tennis courts in Summer) or in the JEC Lounge meditating! Wilfredo F. Yushimito

Wilfredo has a BS and a MS in Industrial Engineering. He has interest in network design problems, facility location, and methodologically in cutting plane methods, column generation and decomposition schemes for optimization problems. He also has some minor interests in Transportation Economics and has been active in research related with Humanitarian Supply Chains and in assessing criticality of transportation infrastructures. Besides research he is a representative of the Graduate Council for which he was massively elected with 2 votes. Webpage: www.rpi.edu/~yushiw
