Bio:
Chris Sims is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Cognitive Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His primary interest lies in developing computational models as tools for understanding the mind and brain. This work is currently focused on computational models of learning and adaptive behavior, human-level intelligence, the organization of sequential action, routine behavior and extending the capabilities of cognitive architectures to deal with the complexities of embodied cognition in naturalistic environments.
Chris received his bachelor of science from Cornell University in the spring of 2003. There he majored in Computer Science, specializing in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. In 2005 he received his masters degree in Cognitive Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
