Presentation

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at RPI, Harford, CT. Formely, I was an INRIA (Futurs) researcher, in the Jacquard project at the LIFL laboratory in France, not far from Lille. My main interest is Software Engineering and especially all that goes along with Software and Code Quality (static analysis in particular).

Projects

These are some projects I am or was working on. Their status is indicated as [active] (currently working on it actively) or [done] (will not work anymore on it). Projects with no status are the ones I might definitly drop or work again if I find the time.

• Spoon [active]: a Java open compiler for compile-time program analysis, transformation, annotation processing, and so on.
• Spoon-AOP: an annotation-driven AOP weaver based on Spoon.
• CompAr: a language for composition of around advice in AOP-related approaches.
• AOP Alliance: an effort for AOP standardization.
• Java Aspect Components (JAC) [done]: a framework and middleware for Dynamic and Distributed Aspect Orientation with Java (PhD Project: December 2002).
• Tcl Object System (TOS) [done]: a fully runtime object-oriented reflective system with Aspect-Oriented and Distributed programming features (MS Project: 1998 - 1999).
