    Twenty Facts about me:
I have lived in 3 continents and touched all the oceans except for the two coldest, Arctic and Antarctic.
I feel very old sometimes coming from one of the oldest religion, Hinduism (mmm... its more Philosopy than religion to me) and speaking one of the oldest language, Tamil.
The one and only year that I kept a journal was in third grade.
It is my belief that my undergrad college, Thiagarajar Engineering College, Madurai, has the most diverse population set, some of its member inhabitants being peacocks, monkeys, banyan trees, camels and snakes.
My professional drive is towards computers that can read, digest(?) the information and answer questions based on it. The impossible Natural Language Understanding problem, but then is it really that impossible?
My alternate profession, in case I'm forced to quit AI, is farming :)
All of my current 3 phones are mobile phones
The contents of my desk include a scanner, a monitor,a laptop, my stuffed toy and no other entities.
The latest game that I enjoyed was Twenty20 cricket, the only official international cricket match to have 20 overs per game instead of the conventional 50 over ODI or the longer 5-day test match.
I finally have internet at my home after 3 months of procrastination and TV after 2 years.
My latest toy, the sony Ericsson walkman phone, is the same model as the phone my California friend's husband owns.
The problem that has me stumped at work is the need to formalize that given all the causes of an event dont hold true, then the event definitely cannot be true. This problem becomes difficult because there are always ever new causes that the system is not aware of at the current point in time.
If the sprinkler is off and it hasn't rained, the grass is likely to be dry.
My parents have moved in and out of 17 houses in their 25 years of marraige, of which only 2 houses are owned by them, while the rest were rented.
My sister and I are the only children of our parents and among us I am the eldest.
Among my classes in RPI so far, the course I find the most frustrating and hence interesting is Philosophy.
The HLIL lab has 8 active members among which one is the "head of the pack", 2 are postdocs, 3 are grad students and 2 are undergrads.
Most Indians speak Hindi. I am an Indian. However I donot speak Hindi, though I have been trying to learn it for 2 and a half years now.
The river that runs through my hometown Madurai is called Vaigai
My car is not the same as my neighbors car, eventhough they are the same make and year
In the tradition of my parents, this is my sixth house that I've moved to after leaving home 3 years back.
