Calculating your advance grade
Your advance grade is available from your TA.
This grade is calculated using the following formula:
1.25* sum(quizzes) + (4/9) * sum(labs) + 0.15*sum(exams)
With this formula,
| 90-100: | A |
| 80-89: | B |
| 68-79: | C |
| 57-67: | D |
| <57: | F |
Additionally, we checked the following:
Delete the worst exam, take the minimum letter grade of the remaining
three exams.
We performed one other check:
Take the average letter grade of the four exams.
We took the best of the grades given by these three approaches.
