About Me
Overview
My name is Brian A. Michalski, I was born May 25th, 1988 to my parents Ronald and Ann Michalski, of South Hadley, MA. My brother Kevin Michalski was born on December 26, 1989 which makes shopping for him peticularly hard. I grew up in Western Mass in the small town of South Hadley. I spend my summers in a small cottage in Vermont, very peaceful on a small lake. (Too peaceful for my liking) I graduated High School in 2006 and am now attending college.
Tiger Times
I've been interested in computers since 4th grade in Mosier School, since then I've been very involved with computers and technology in the South Hadley Public School System. As a freshmen at SHHS, I volunteered at the cable studio inside the school, SHCTV15. I was involved with a small group of students who started the daily televison news show, the Tiger Times. The Tiger Times broadcasts a daily 5-minute news show covering school news and also produces special segments for holidays and more detailed news segments. My main roles in the group were Director and President, where I served as the primary leader in the group, cooridinating with approx. 10 students to produce the daily show as well as leading the direction for the special segements. As an Alumi of the school, I continue to serve as the Tiger Times' webmaster, where I've developed the main site http://www.tigertimes.org and a membership portal http://portal.tigertimes.org . Boy Scouts
I was involved in Boy Scouts of America since Cub Scouts. I crossed over into Troop 303 of South Hadley ,Mass. As a scout I was always more interested in the things you could learn like leadership and "people-skills" rather than the camping and specific advancement. I acheived the rank of Eagle Scout after serving as the troops Senior Patrol Leader (SPL). Before elected SPL, I created my own position, Communications Liaison, to help facilitate communication in the troop between members, adults, and leaders.
Katie Boudreau
Katie is my girlfriend who I've been dating for over a year now. While she's still in high school, we see each other as much as possible. She means the world to me and I don't know what I'd do without her. She serves as the inspiration for several of my projects. She is currently a senior at SHHS and the current Tiger Times president and director. In her spare time she enjoys being with me [I hope], playing laser tag, and chilling at the Thirsty Mind.
