Lake George Cruise

We have arranged a great event for all conference attendees on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, the second day of the MA&O conference. We cordially invite all of you on a dinner cruise on Lake George (32 miles long) -- near a beautiful little town approximately one hour north of Albany. It will be a welcome change for everyone, colleagues, friends, and family, after an long day of technical presentations.


Cruise Details

The cruise is complete with on-board hearty dinner, live entertainment, and a dance floor. The dinner cruise is onboard LAC du SAINT SACREMENT, the largest cruise ship on Lake George with a capacity of over 350 people, of which a limited number of seats have been reserved.

At sunset the cruise offers a hearty dinner & live entertainment, while enjoying the magnificent Adirondack Mountains which surround the "The Queen of American Lakes." This cruise on the crystal clear waters explores Lake George, where large historic mansions line the shores below scenic mountains.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided in the form of large buses, which will leave the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albany at 4.15 pm on Tuesday, August 31. Please note that all the technical sessions of the conference end at 4.00 pm or before on Tuesday, August 31. The buses will drop everyone back at the Crowne Plaza Hotel right after the cruise ends.

Ticket cost

The entire cost of the event including transportation, dinner, and live entertainment is $15.00 (US Dollars) per person. This reduced cost is offered, courtsey the Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization Laboratory (MDOL), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and others to be announced.

We have only a limited number of seats available due to subsidy constraints. To avoid disappointment, please register for the cruise event as soon as possible. You can register for the event on the same website as the conference registration. Please note that tickets purchases are limited to FOUR per person. Cruise ticket purchases will end upon reaching the target.

OPTION A

If you have not yet registered for the conference, you can register online for the CRUISE during the conference registration. Please visit the following website for registration.

OPTION B

If you have already registered for the conference (online or otherwise), but not for the cruise, then please send an email to Yvonne Rivera (yvonner@aiaa.org) at AIAA, indicating that you would like to sign up for the cruise, and the number of tickets you want to purchase. Please include your credit card information (number and expiration date) in the email, or alternatively, you can call her at 703-264-7500 (x 506) to provide the payment information.

OPTION C

For our colleagues who do not wish to register online, the following option is available.
