Welcome to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's AIChE student chapter!

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers is a professional organization that promotes leadership and advancement in chemical engineering. On the student level, AIChE provides opportunities for chemical engineering students to develop the fundamental knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience neccessary to succeed in the future.

Members of the RPI student chapter participate in philanthropic, social, and professional events throughout the school year. These events encourage comradery among fellow students and faculty as well as social networking opportunities. Some of the past events include professional speakers, chemical plant tours, and professor-student mixers.

The RPI chapter of AIChE strongly participates on the regional and national level. Students represent the local chapter at the annual regional and national conferences every year. In addition to representing RPI, students compete in the undergratuate poster competition, the national paper competition, and the Chem-E-Car competition.

Please take the time to learn more about the opportunities that the RPI student AIChE chapter has to offer. Direct any questions or comments to any of the officers, they would love to help!
