Two weeks ago, on November 2, I went to RPI's annual Honors Convocation and got an award for having maintained a 4.0 so far. It was a nice ceremony and I would've mentioned it sooner, except I just got around to scanning my certificate.

So I lied. There is a page of thumbnails of the pictures of the Colgate game. In fact, I've got a page of RPI hockey stuff that I'll try to update more often than I do this site.

So I went to the RPI-Colgate game Friday. It wasn't a blowout like I hoped, but at least they won. While I was there, I took a bunch of pictures. I'm too lazy to make a thumbnails page, so you'll have to browse them yourself.

In case you don't read the notes at the top telling you when stuff was last updated, I thought I'd point out that I added a new rant to the rants page.

Not that anyone's asked, but the laptop's been sold.

Two things:

• I'm selling my laptop. It's a Thinkpad 600E with 128 MB of RAM. I'm asking $649; let me know if you're interested.
• I'm leaving for Florida (yes, Disney World) on Thursday. I've got a page set up to put pictures on. I'll try to do a better job of updating it then I do with this page.

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated. Don't get too excited though, I'm just pointing out that Rank Your Desktop and Rank Your Laptop have been updated.

I added a sound (craw.wav) to the Seinfeld sounds page and a new quote to the quotes page.

I just found out that the Oxford English Dictionary now contains the word doh. (No word yet on woohoo.) More information is avilable at http://www.oed.com/public/news/0106.htm. (There was an article in the Times Union, but I can't find it on their site. Grr.)

I didn't actually go anywhere, but you'd think I had since it's been a month since I updated. Anyway, I updated the Rank Your Computer applet and split into Rank Your Desktop and Rank Your Laptop.

Even though there's not much need, I updated the RPI Computer Labs schedule with the summer lab schedule.

I'd just like to point out that my site is evidently world-reknowned now, based on a hit I registered yesterday morning from Namibia. Yes, Namibia, over in Africa. (Which reminds me, I guess it wasn't morning there.) I can't explain it either.

Now that the spring semester is over, there's no need for my schedule, so I replaced it with my Fall 2001 schedule. Also, the RPI hockey schedule is out. The first game is October 12 at BU (sucks). The first home game is October 20 against UNH (sucks). Only 168 days to go!

I finally got around to a long overdue update to the Rank Your Computer applet, so it makes more sense now. On the downside, no more scores of 100 unless you've got a 1.7GHz machine.
