Welcome to my homepage. I am currently a Ph.D. student in Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY, USA). I received my M.S. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (India) in August 2006. Prior to that, I worked as a software engineer in aurionPro Solutions (Mumbai, India) for about an year. I received my Bachelor's degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (India) in May 2003. I am originally from Ranchi, Jharkhand State, (east) India.

My research interests include dynamic modeling and control of integrated combined-cycle power plants; operability analysis, prediction and application of dynamic simulations for plant-wide control. My advisor is Dr. B. Wayne Bequette.

In my spare time, I love to read novels, watch movies, play tennis/cricket, work out and take photos. Being a strong supporter of open-source software and unix-based operating systems, I often develop/post tweaks and codes to OS's support-websites.
