Theobald III was defeated at Saint-Martin-le-Breau and taken prisoner, forced to surrender to Geoffrey Martel the town of Tours and its territory. Theobald III was Count 1037-89. Wurts ("Magna Charta," p. 2756) states his sister, Berthe, m. (1) Alan III, Duke of Bretagne, who d. 04-13-1084.
