Agenda

Introductions (and other organizational Issues)
InfraGard (http:// www.fbi.gov/programs/infra.htm )
Our main speaker will be Special Agent John Sennett. SA Sennett has been an agent for the past 19 years and during that time has been assigned to the Cleveland, Washington, New Haven and Albany offices. He has spent the majority of his career working on investigations concerning counter-intelligence and terrorism.

SA Sennett will be discussing economic espionage, protection of the critical infrastructure of the US, and the Infragard program. Infragard is a cooperative effort in the EXCHANGE of information between the Business Community, Academic institutions, the FBI, and other government agencies to ensure the protection of our Information Infrastructure through the referral and dissemination of information regarding illegal intrusions, disruptions and vulnerabilities of the information systems. The members of InfraGard believe that the protection of the Information Infrastructure is crucial in protecting the integrity and continuity of the Institutions and Businesses of our respective members, thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the citizens.

Along with SA Sennett, we will also have Agent Elizabeth Maher, who will also be there to help answer any questions about Infragard. SA Maher has been an agent for the past 18 years, and has worked in the Miami, New York and Albany offices. Working primarily in the counter-intelligence field.

LISA - 98 Highlights
If any time remains after the presentation (and presumably the discussion) with Agents Sennett and Maher, we will call on some of the audience who recently returned from the LISA 98 conference to share some of their impressions of the high (and low) points of the conference.

Travel & Parking

The CII is located on the RPI campus directly across the pedestrian bridge from the Visitors Information Center and Visitors Parking Lot. Room 4050 is located in the lower part of the CII (North). After you cross the pedestrian bridge, the CII will be directly ahead of you (large white building, with a smaller section attached via a walkway) to the right. Go into the smaller section under the walkway, and go to the right and up one level (choice of stairs or elevator). Room 4050 will be at the end of the hall. Note: from the pedestrian bridge, you enter the CII on the third floor.)

You can find directions to RPI at http://www.rpi.edu/CampusInfo/travel.html. Parking is available on 15th street, or in the Visitors parking lot. There are hourly charges for the visitors parking lot. You may want to avoid parking on campus - most campus spots require a parking permit. There are a few metered spots, but they are generally pretty short term. Parking enforcement is rather aggressive, with a majority of the parking office revenue coming from fines rather than permits. More information about the wonderful and wacky world of parking at RPI can be found at http://www.rpi.edu/dept/parking.
