Guidelines
This page contains official Archive policies. Please read, and feel free to ask questions by e-mailing edwarj4@rpi.edu. To make sure I recognize an e-mail, use "Bionicle Archive" or something similar for the subject line.
Browser Compatibility
The Archive was created to give information on Bionicle to all visitors, no matter what Web software they prefer to use. I test all pages on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Lynx. Please let me know if a site feature is not working properly in your browser, and I will try to fix it. Note, however, that it is not possible to make the layout compatible with some browsers, for which I will try to use a different layout or no layout in order to make the content readable.
Use of Images
Please do not direct link to Archive images, i.e. cause them to appear embedded in another Web page, as this will use up the Archive's bandwidth and make my Web host unhappy. However, I do not mind if you download my images and host them elsewhere.
Linking
It is a myth that you need someone's permission to link to their site. I won't (and don't want to) stop you from linking to the Archive. Note, however, that this site does not comply with the BZPower Advertising Guidelines, so you cannot create links to it on BZP.
Privacy
The Archive uses no mechanisms to gather information on its visitors, other than a link to e-mail me, which is completely voluntary. I may place the content of e-mails about the Archive onto a public page. If you do not wish an e-mail's contents to be displayed publicly, make this clear in the body of the e-mail.
