INTRODUCTION TO RADAR IMAGING

Information Systems Laboratory has summer opportunities for students interested in working on radar.
Capraro Technologies may have summer jobs for one or more students. If you plan to apply, please let Prof. Cheney know.
Technology Service Corporation does a lot of radar work, and is hiring people who know something about radar.
The backhoe data is available below. The files Challenge_Problem.pdf, DESCRIPTIONofFILES.pdf, and Label.ppt contain general information about the data. Matlab-readable files containing the (frequency-domain) data are the files backhoe_el000_az350to100.mat (for zero elevation) and backhoe_el030_az350to100.mat (for elevation 30 degrees).

You can request your own DVD of backhoe data from the URL https://www.sdms.afrl.af.mil/main.php . (On the menu to the left, click on "request data", and then on "Visual-D".)

Research papers showing some work using the backhoe data can be found here and here .
