ASME Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG)
( Call for Papers pdf)

Description
The ASME International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG) is an integral part of the 2007 ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Conferences (2007 IDETC/CIE) and will take place at the San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, California, from August 30-September 2, 2009. This Conference is sponsored by the Technical Committee on Power Transmission and Gearing, which is an integral part of the ASME Design Engineering Division. This event is the theme of the every-year IDETC and premier international meeting in the fields of power transmission and gearing. This conference, attended by power transmission and gear researchers and engineers, provides a forum for enhancing the power transmission and gearing engineering by becoming familiar with the latest research findings and applications that address critical engineering issues. The Power Transmission and Gearing Committee is soliciting abstracts in the following topics. For more detailed information, please visit PTG website when available.

Objectives
Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in the area of 10th ASME International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG). Dissemination of knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts in the ASME Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG) will serve as the foundation upon which the conference program of this area will be developed.

Likely topics include but are not limited to:

All papers will be reviewed and, if accepted, will be published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM. For further information, contact the organizers of the conference:
