Tax Seminar

The ISSS Office usually organizes a tax seminar every Spring semester, in the early March where an officer from the Internal Revue Service and the Department of State Taxes will discuss regulations and answer questions.

This seminar is a big hit with the Rensselaer International community because it helps in these ways:

• Determine if you are required to file a tax return
• Determine which form or forms you should file
• Understand the filing instructions
• Prepare and submit you own federal tax forms.

Because of legal restrictions on the capacity to advise about tax liabilities, the ISSS staff is not permitted to answer questions regarding tax situations.
