The RPI Employees' Federal Credit Union, chartered in 1978, was authorized to offer memberships to Sage employees in 1982.

We offer the convenience of saving through payroll deduction and pay very competitive dividends on savings accounts. Members can open holiday and vacation accounts, which earn the same competitive interest as regular accounts.

Members can borrow for new and used cars as well as personal loans, also at very competitive interest rates. Shop around for the best interest rate, but keep in mind that credit union loan interest is charged on the declining balance, as opposed to car dealers, bank and finance company loans where the interest is loaded up front, calculated on the total loan for the term of the loan. Sound complicated? To simplify, your interest cost is substantially less with a credit union loan, often making a difference of as much as 2-3% in the interest rate.

Plus, borrowers are automatically covered with free life insurance for the loan's duration. In other words, if a borrower dies before their loan is paid off, the insurance pays the balance.
