and Present
"This display honors the hockey heroes
of the past while promoting the hockey stars of the future.
I couldn't be more pleased with the results of this effort
by the RAA, and all of the coaches are most grateful for their
support."

A new display honoring Rensselaer's current and
alumni hockey players is now located in the west grandstand area
of the Houston Field House. The display was conceived and paid
for by the Rensselaer Alumni Association.
The goal of the exhibit, according to Jan Pirrong
'69, chair of the RAA's Athletic Relations Committee, is to "celebrate
the achievements of RPI athletes and to build pride among alumni
and the general public about RPI athletics."
The display includes photographs, current men's
and women's hockey schedules, a display of alumni who play or
have played in the National Hockey League, and a display of hockey
All-Americans.
