Construction Update
Rensselaer will provide an additional wide gravel path from the Jonsson-Rowland Science Center fire truck access path (northwest corner of the building) to the paved road directly south of the Voorhees Computing Center (VCC).

The new path will accommodate tractor-trailer deliveries to the VCC during construction of the parking garage and to prepare the site for the construction of the experimental media and performing arts center.

Several small trees and shrubs already have been relocated or trimmed. One tree will be removed. The path will provide a large tractor-trailer easier access to the VCC via the Jonsson Engineering Center circle and eliminate a bottleneck at the construction gate to the biotechnology building near the Cogswell parking lots. 11/18/02

Institute Holiday Reception Dec. 4
President Shirley Ann Jackson invites students, faculty, and staff to an Institute holiday reception on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Russell Sage Dining Hall. A variety of festive food and beverages will be served.

"Please join me as we celebrate the close of another successful year at Rensselaer," said President Jackson. "This year we have welcomed many new members to our community, and we have accomplished much. Before we all leave to celebrate the holidays with our own families and friends, the holiday reception gives us an opportunity to rejoice in our good fortunes with our Rensselaer family. I hope you will join me on Wednesday, Dec. 4, as we dine and commune with one another one last time this year." 11/18/02
