Family Weekend: Bleacher Dedication
One highlight of Family Weekend was the dedication
of new bleachers on the '86 Field. Designed to accommodate nearly
1,000 fans, the new bleachers offer better views of the playing
field, access for the disabled, and a press box for media and
game personnel.
As part of the celebration, the Athletics Department sponsored
school spirit contests for students in Greek chapters and residence
halls. Winners were Phi Kappa Tau (first) and Lambda Chi Alpha
(second), and Burdett Avenue Residence Hall (first) and Nason
Hall (second).
