Work will begin on the site in the spring. The new digital facility, expected to be completed by fall 2003, will house public television and radio stations WMHT-TV and WMHT/WRHV-FM, and RISE, the Capital Region's radio reading service. In addition to greatly expanded studio production capabilities, new technology for educational purposes, and public meeting space, the digital facility will allow the broadcast of up to four television programs simultaneously. The building is designed by local architects Einhorn Yaffee Prescott.
