Brown ’54
Glenn Brown ’54 will receive the RAA
Fellows Award from the Department of Decision Sciences and
Engineering Systems on Friday, May 16, at the department’s
Commencement dinner.

Brown received a B.S. in management engineering
from Rensselaer in 1954 and an MBA from the University of
Rochester in 1962. He retired as founder, president, and
CEO of Rand Incentive Marketing Inc., in Pittsford, New
York.
Brown has volunteered for Rensselaer since
his graduation in 1954, when he was elected as president
of the Class of 1954, following his leadership role as Grand
Marshal. He is a past president of the Rensselaer Alumni
Association and member of the Rensselaer Alumni Hall of
Fame Steering and Selection Committees. He has served as
chair of the Rensselaer Annual Fund Patroon Gift Committee
and the Rensselaer Annual Fund Reunion Gift Committee. He
currently serves as chair of the Decision Sciences and Engineering
Systems Advisory Board. In 2000, Brown was honored with
the RAA Distinguished Service Award, the highest award that
the association bestows. He is a member of the Amos Eaton
Society of Patroons.
The Rensselaer Alumni Association Fellows
Award was created to honor those alumni or non-alumni of
Rensselaer who, by their achievements in a chosen profession
or endeavor or by their service to the Institute, have set
an example for Rensselaer men and women to emulate. To date,
119 RAA Fellows Awards have been presented.
