NSF
Grant of $3.5 Million Establishes Global Laboratory for
Materials Science
Rensselaer has been awarded
a five-year, $3.5 million grant from the National Science
Foundation (NSF) to establish an International Materials
Institute (IMI) for Materials Informatics and Combinatorial
Materials Science. It is one of the first centers of its
kind to be awarded funding by the NSF. More

School’s Entrepreneurship Program Named One of the
Nation’s Top 25
Entrepreneur magazine
has named the technological entrepreneurship program at
Rensselaer’s Lally School of Management and Technology
one of the 25 best entrepreneurial programs in the nation.
The magazine’s “Top 100 Entrepreneurial Colleges
and Universities” feature is slated for the April
2003 issue, which will appear on newsstands March 25.
