Nominations Sought for Trustees Outstanding
Teacher Award A selection committee, headed by Provost Bud Peterson, will recommend outstanding candidates for consideration to the president, who will make the final selection. Nominationswhich must include a letter of nomination, resume, and letters of supportare due no later than March 15 and should be submitted to Peterson's office, which will solicit student evaluations from the appropriate department for all nominations received. 2/18/02

Public Interest Career Fair The event is co-hosted by the Career Development
Centers of the University at Albany and Rensselaer. Two national organizations
specializing in public service employment also will take part: Action
Without Borders, which developed the nonprofit sector Web site www.Idealist.org,
and the Sustainable Careers
Institute, which helps campus career centers develop socially responsible
career options for graduates in the private as well as public sectors.
The event, which is free, is open to students, faculty, and community professionals. Prep workshops will be held in Rensselaer's Career Development Center on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m.; all students are welcome and asked to bring a resume.
