Coach Fridgen Signs Contract Extension Ken Ralph, director of athletics, has announced that Dan Fridgen has signed a three-year contract extension to remain Rensselaer's head men's hockey coach. Fridgen, who became the 10th head coach of the men's hockey program in July 1994, is in his ninth season at the helm. He holds a 157-126-27 (.550) record, including four 20-win seasons. The contract extension will keep Fridgen at Rensselaer through the 2005-06 season. More
Wintry Conditions and New Traffic Law Warrant Extra Caution on the Road A New York state traffic law, in effect beginning this month, requires drivers to stop for pedestrians in any part of a crosswalk. The law applies even if the motorists and walkers are in different lanes of the roadway. More
