Hockey Coach Fridgen Signs Contract Extension
Ken Ralph, director of athletics, has announced
that Dan Fridgen has signed a three-year contract extension to
remain Rensselaer's head men's hockey coach.
Fridgen, who became the 10th head coach of the
men's hockey program in July 1994, is in his ninth season at the
helm. He holds a 157-126-27 (.550) record, including four 20-win
seasons. The contract extension will keep Fridgen at Rensselaer
through the 2005-06 season.

"We are thrilled to have Dan signed for the
next three years," Ralph said. "In his tenure we have
seen some of the best college hockey players in the nation play
in Troy. With the bright, talented core of players we currently
have on the roster, I think we will see even more exciting and
successful hockey at the Houston Field House."
