Several Finance Offices Move to Rice Building

Several Finance offices have moved to downtown Troy. The offices of Disbursement Operations, Financial Reporting, Financial Data Administration, Internal Audit, and Purchasing (including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Labor Accounting, and Nonresident Alien Tax Processing) have been relocated to the Rice Building at the intersection of River and First streets. The offices of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Labor Accounting, Nonresident Alien Tax Processing, and Financial Reporting will be located on the fifth floor while Financial Data Administration, Internal Audit, and Purchasing will be located on the fourth floor.

E-mail addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers will remain the same.

Paycheck Distribution
Employees may pick up their paychecks at the Rice Building from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with a picture ID). Student paychecks will be available on campus at the Student Union on paydays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. At all other times paychecks can be picked up at the Rice Building from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Secure Information Transport
For the transport of critical and confidential information to the Rice Building, use the following procedures: There are red mailbags located on the fifth floor of the Troy Building and in the Office of Human Resources. Documents containing critical and/or confidential information that need to be delivered in 24 hours or less to the Rice Building should be placed in the red bags at those locations. For security purposes, all mail in these locked bags will be delivered by Mail Services to the Rice Building.

Downtown Shuttle
The Downtown Red Hawk Shuttle bus will continue daily runs between campus, the Rice and Hedley Buildings for those with Rensselaer ID. For the schedule and more information regarding times and drop off/pick up locations, go to www.pt.rpi.edu/downtown_shuttle.html.
