Out and About: President Jackson Honored by Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center

Rensselaer President Shirley Ann Jackson received the Living the Legacy Award at the Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center's annual awards dinner on Oct. 12 in Albany, N.Y. The award is presented annually to an individual who has made significant contributions in advancing education, economic development, housing, and health care — the principals espoused by civil rights leader Whitney M. Young Jr. The health center, based in Albany, offers an array of medical services including prenatal and pediatric care, internal medicine, and dental services for area residents.
