Cultural Cook-off

Out and About: Students Compete in
Second Annual Cultural Cook-off

The Office of the First-Year Experience hosted the second annual "cultural cook-off" on April 23 in the Rensselaer Union. Lamda Upsilon Lamda, Pi Delta Psi, and the Community Advocates organized the event.

More than a dozen Rensselaer student clubs and organizations cooked and shared food from their own cultures as a way to promote cultural education through food and fun. The Malaysian Students Association won the "Best Dish" award, on which more than 200 attendees voted.
