Exercising Ingenuity

Students presenting final projects for Burt Swersey's Inventor's Studio class showed off the fruits of their labor at the O.T. Swanson Multidisciplinary Design Laboratory Dec. 4.

The group pictured developed a "Performance Monitoring Device" for exercise enthusiasts that monitors its users' workouts in a variety of activities, provides feedback, and keeps track of progress. Other projects included a "Dynamic Water Ski and Performance Monitor," an "Exercise Hoop," and an "Automatic Tomato Height Adjustor."
