Frisbee-Throwing Competition
Marks IED Final Presentation
More than 280 students in Introduction to Engineering
Design, a sophomore-level design course, are putting
the finishing touches on their Frisbee-throwing machines
for a target competition on the last day of classes. The
event will take place on Wednesday, May 1, from 4 to 8:30
p.m. in the Alumni Sports and Recreation Center (Armory).

Pataki and the New York State Senate as a student member
of the board of trustees of the New York State Higher Education

cancerous tumor is one that has the deadly ability to spread
uncontrollably to other parts of the body. If a tumor could
be confined to its original location, it could simply be
removed and cancer virtually would be nonexistent, says
George Plopper, assistant professor of biology.
