* The Liberty League has announced its year-end men's lacrosse award winners and five Rensselaer student-athletes have been recognized. Junior Adam LoGiudice and senior Ryan Frisch were named to the First Team, senior Joe Panniello was selected to the Second Team, and senior Rob Messner and junior Chris Sherman were Honorable Mentions.

Rensselaer student-athletes Hilary Lahn and Meghan Gaul have been named to the All-Liberty League First Team in women's lacrosse. Lahn is a senior midfielder and Gaul is a senior goaltender. The Red Hawks were 6-7 overall and 4-4 in the Liberty League this year. Also, Hilary Lahn, Meghan Gaul, and Kate Phillips have earned additional post-season honors in women's lacrosse. Lahn was named to the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-New York Region First Team and to the All-New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association (NYSWCAA) Second Team; Gaul was selected to the All-Region Second Team, the All-NYSWCAA Second Team, and tabbed to play in the North/South Senior All-Star Game; and Phillips was chosen to the All-NYSWCAA Second Team.

Three Rensselaer student-athletes have been selected to the ESPN Magazine Academic All-District 1 College Division Baseball and Softball Teams. Juniors Joe Ihnatolya (third baseman) and Stephanie Vanek (shortstop) were named to their respective First Teams while sophomore Katie Mahoney (pitcher) was a Second Team choice in softball. As First Team members, Ihnatolya and Vanek are eligible for National Academic All-America consideration.

The Liberty League has announced its year-end award winners in baseball and nine Rensselaer student-athletes have been selected, including five who were named to the First Team. Four others earned Second Team honors. The Red Hawks chosen to the First Team are junior Joe Ihnatolya (third baseman), junior Michael Passante (outfielder), sophomore Jason Pollard (catcher), senior Chris Sullivan (starting pitcher), and freshman Stevan Slusher (designated hitter). Senior Dan Quinn (first baseman), junior Rich Mundy (second baseman), senior Nick Parenteau (outfielder), and freshman Tim Klein (pitcher) were selected to the Second Team.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced its all-region softball teams and four Rensselaer student-athletes have been chosen. Junior shortstop Stephanie Vanek was named to the All-Northeast Region First Team, senior first baseman Lizzie Vitaliano and junior pitcher/outfielder Amy Huling were selected to the Second Team, and sophomore catcher Katherine Valenta was a Third Team choice.
