Correspondence to and from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute uses the official address of 110 Eighth Street, Troy, NY 12180. This address serves as a mailing address only; you will not find a building with that number on 8th Street.

To locate RPI, find the intersection of 15th Street and Sage Avenue, a main "gate" to campus. The Rensselaer Union, the Quad, the Office of Admissions and other campus facilities are in plain view from here. You may also want to consult the driving directions to RPI.

From 15th and Sage, head south, pass under the foot bridge and turn at the first left to reach the Visitor Information Center. (HINT: Public Safety, Parking and the VIC share the same building.) Visitor parking is available at the VIC. Obtain a parking pass -- and a campus map! -- from the VIC before parking elsewhere on campus.
