In recent projects, management, engineering, and economics students work side by side at the new Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center exploring the transition from traditional to solid state lighting.
Undergraduate electronic arts students, mentored by world renowned avant-garde experimental composer Pauline Oliveros, interact and perform with a Second Life virtual world orchestra conducting, performing, and manning the cameras.
And biology and bioinformatics and molecular biology undergraduates investigate cancer cell biology in a multi-semester program.
