The FACSAria flow cytometer incorporates a fixed-alignment cuvette flow cell for cell sorting.

It is equipped with 407-, 488-, and 633-nm laser lines and can interrogate 15 parameters: forward and side scatter, and 13 fluorescent detectors (7 off 488nm, 3 off 407nm, and 3 off 633nm).

It has 70- and 100 mm nozzle tips, and two- or four-way sorting into microtubes or test tubes. The Automated Cell Deposition Unit (ACDU) permits multiwell plate and slide sorting. The sample injection chamber includes agitation and temperature control.
