Ronald Kudla
Executive Director, Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and New Venture Creation

The executive director of intellectual property, technology transfer, and new venture creation oversees the strategic development, protection, marketing, and licensing of promising innovations arising from the Institute’s research activities.

Ronald Kudla previously served as the director of the Office of Technology Licensing at the University of Florida, and director of patents and licensing at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) in Madison, Wis. Kudla also has extensive product development experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Kudla earned a Ph.D. in pharmaceutics/biopharmaceutics from the University of North Carolina, an MBA in pharmaceutical marketing from Farleigh Dickinson University, an M.S. in manufacturing pharmacy from University of Michigan, and a B.S. in pharmacy from Ferris State University.
