In Brief


Class of 2013 civil engineering students, accompanied by professor and department head Chris Letchford, enjoyed an in-depth engineer’s tour of the George Washington Bridge on Nov. 9, 2011. They are shown on top of the West Tower, overlooking Manhattan, with their host Hector Eugui ’96 (front left corner), who is the Port Authority of NY & NJ’s supervisor of maintenance planning for the George Washington Bridge & Bus Station.


		Returning to celebrate their 65th Reunion of the Class of ’46 in October were, from left, Rolf Ochsner, Jack Hamilton, Stan Weiss, Tom Davis, and Ed Miller.

The William F. Glaser ’53 Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year award was established in 1990 to honor successful entrepreneurs who, in turn, are important role models for the students of Rensselaer.
