Roger Schaufele ’49 Honored for Contributions to Air & Space Industry
Roger Schaufele ’49 was inducted into the International Air & Space Hall of Fame Nov. 1 at a ceremony that took place at the San Diego Air & Space Museum’s Pavilion of Flight.

Roger Orloff ’60 Earns RAA’s Highest Honor
Rensselaer Alumni Association awarded its highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award, to Roger Orloff ’60 at the association’s 28th annual awards dinner held on campus Oct. 9.

Van Mow ’62 Earns ASME’s Highest Tribute
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers has conferred its highest honor, the ASME Medal, on Van Mow ’62. Mow was recognized for his significant contributions to biomechanical and biomedical engineering, particularly seminal breakthroughs in understanding the biomechanics of human joints; for educating and mentoring engineering students; for broad and critical leadership of the nascent bioengineering profession; and for his service to ASME.
