Manufacturing Pioneer Hugo Ferguson 56 Awarded Davies Medal
Innovator and metallurgist Hugo Ferguson ’56, Ph.D. ’62, received the Davies Medal for Engineering Achievement from the School of Engineering April 22. Ferguson is the founder of Dynamic Systems Inc.

NAE Elects Andresen ’72, Kelly ’78, and Logan ’79
The National Academy of Engineering elected 69 new members in 2013, including three graduates of Rensselaer.

Trifon Laskaris ’74 Receives 200th Patent
Trifon Laskaris, Ph.D. ’74, chief engineer and pioneer in imaging technologies at GE Global Research, has been awarded his 200th U.S. patent.
