Pi Kappa Alpha Reunion

Alan McLiverty ’84 and Dave George ’83 hosted a Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity party during the summer in Rochester, N.Y. Traveling the farthest was Dave Irwin ’86,who flew in from Seattle, Wash.

Working Buildings Alums

Several alumni who work for the Northeast Regional office of Working Buildings LLC, enjoyed a company picnic last summer, including water skiing and a barbecue. From left, are John Vinueza ’10, Kagan Longval ’10, Erik Whiting ’10, John McFarland ’92, Tom Hyland ’92, and Matt McDonough ’08.

Working Buildings LLC is a building commissioning authority engaged in construction projects with high performance buildings, including biological and chemical laboratories, vivariums, medical research facilities, institutional facilities, and the Department of Energy’s National Laboratory Program.

Andy Woo ’00 Receives Living Values Award

Andy Woo ’00 was awarded Con Edison’s highest honor, the Living Our Values award, which honors outstanding character and superior accomplishment. Several co-workers and Rensselaer alumni joined him at the Spring 2009 awards ceremony. From left, are Kevin Burke ’73, chairman and CEO of Con Edison, John Mucci, MBA ’01, vice president of engineering and planning, Andy Woo ’00, his sister Winnie Woo ’01, Carlos Yepez ’96, section manager of Manhattan Electric Construction and a 2004 recipient of the award, and Al Homyk ’67, director of operation services.
