We're pleased to announce that the 2012-2013 Mobile Computing Package, which includes a Lenovo T430 laptop computer, will be available at a purchase price of $1,599 to those incoming freshman and transfer students who will be coming to Rensselaer for the Spring 2013 semester.

But you don't just get a laptop when you participate in this program. We offer a complete package which also includes all of the following, in addition to full on-campus support and a laptop loaner pool:
And if all this isn't enough, because all Rensselaer students are required to have laptops and this is an academic program, no 8% sales tax is applied to the cost of the package, which means you're saving another $128! Quite literally, you're all set from the minute you take your new laptop out of the box.
We think that once you consider everything you get along with the laptop, you'll agree that this package is an excellent value!
The following software comes pre-installed on all 2012-2013 Mobile Computing laptops. Educational licenses are included, but not installation CDs.
Please note that this listing does not include all pre-installed software, nor does it include other software packages that some students may need to purchase for their specific coursework. Please consult with your academic advisor to determine what, if any, additional software is required.
