What is "trading-up"?
If you're currently using a T61 or T61p laptop, you have the opportunity to trade in your current model for a credit on your
student account toward the purchase of the Fall
2010 Mobile Computing Package, which includes the Lenovo ThinkPad
T410.

Trade-up orders will be accepted through Wednesday, September 15. If you are interested in participating in the trade-up, you must turn in your T61 or T61p laptop to Pat Valiquette in the VCC Help Desk between Tuesday, September 7 and Friday, September 17 in order to get the trade-up credit.
Please note that T61p laptops are beginning the third year of their
three-year manufacturer's warranty and ThinkPad protection. Please check Lenovo's website to find
out the expiration date of your warranty.
- If you trade in a T61 laptop, the T410 package will cost $1,525.
- If you trade in a T61p, the T410 package will cost $1,425.
Full price for the Fall 2010 T410 package is $1,775.
To trade-up your laptop, you must complete both
the trade-up form and the purchase
form.
