Acquiring Your Laptop - Spring 2008

The Mobile Computing Package 2007-2008 is made up of the ThinkPad T61, a comprehensive software suite, a backpack carrying case, an ethernet cable, a security cable, and an iClicker personal response unit . The laptop is specially configured for easy connection to the Rensselaer network, and fully supported by on-campus repair and consulting facilities.

Note that all incoming undergraduate students are required to have a laptop computer. Each year, every matriculated student is allowed to purchase one laptop computer through the Mobile Computing Program.

What about insurance?
