Student Support

At Rensselaer, we recognize that the potential to change the world lies within each of our students, and we fully understand that continued investment in their future is critical.

More than 90 percent of our students receive some sort of financial aid. Yet our endowed scholarship resources leave us well behind competing institutions.

An endowed scholarship (unrestricted) may be established for a minimum gift of $200,000, and a restricted scholarship fund may be established for $250,000, to ensure a student's future promise. You can also support a Patroon Scholar with a multi-year gift pledge.

Two-thirds of our 1,200 resident graduate students currently receive financial support from fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships.

Each year at the Celebration of Support, scholarship donors meet the students that they support.
