The Patroon Scholars Program of the Rensselaer Annual Fund

The quality of our students depends in part on the availability of scholarship support. This support is especially critical in recruiting and retaining highly qualified students from diverse intellectual, geographic, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Patroon Scholars Program of the Rensselaer Annual Fund is an excellent way to invest in the education and future of Rensselaer students. More than 90 percent of our undergraduate student body receives some form of financial aid. Your gift to the Patroon Scholars Program will provide tuition support for one or more undergraduate students throughout their stay at Rensselaer. Our students are the leaders of tomorrow. Your generous gift of scholarship support represents a stake in their future. Download the Patroon Scholars Brochure.

Participation in the program begins with your multi-year pledge of $40,000 ($10,000 per year for each year of undergraduate education for each student you sponsor*). It continues with regular information about the student(s) you are helping, and wherever possible, opportunities for you to meet with your student(s). Each year at the Celebration of Support, scholarship donors meet the students that they support.

If you would like to learn more about student support, email Becky Codner or call (518) 276-3088.

*Five years, or $50,000, for students in the School of Architecture.
